Beauty and the Beach was created on the shores of Maui by friends who spent most of their time on the sand or in the surf, but still wanted to feel fashionable and feminine. Finding little in the way of swimwear that fit the bill, they designed their own line – Beauty and the Beach Hawaii – in 2008.

Aimed at celebrating the island vibe and bringing Hawaiian designs to the mainland, the first season of Beauty and the Beach embodied true Aloha style – a laid-back sexiness, flirty-fun irreverence, and a splash of retro-cool. The second season continues that island-chic tradition, and adds hints of other exotic beach flavors, from Rio to the Riviera.

Beauty and the Beach designs swimwear and accessories that they want to wear themselves – and that they think you’ll love. Lycra styles fit well and have an air of femininity; crochet designs are made with quality yarns that both feel and look fabulous; and accessories are high-style and imaginative.

The unique line is available in retail stores and at the Beauty and the Beach e-boutique, with different offerings in-store and online. In an effort to promote other designers and to give back to the culture and lifestyle that inspires their line, Beauty and the Beach also features swimwear, clothing and hand-made jewelry from other Hawaii-based designers.
